After receiving the feedback from the Faulkes Telescope Team, students did improvements to their work, by using the average
offset of three reference stars.
They replotted the CMD (see figure below)) The y axis on CMD represents the star’s absolute magnitude in Visual wavelength and the x axis represents the color index, B-V that determines the color of the star (also its temperature).

They indicated the different areas on the CMD (see below) that represent the stages on star’s life (Main sequence, Red Giant, White Dwarfs ) .
They also observed several stars on diagram and made conclusions about the age (in stages), the mass (big/small), color (blue/red),the temperature (cold/hot) and luminosity (faint/bright).
